Shaker Village Vintage Car Show

October 15, 2011 — I hadn't been to the Shaker Village Car Show in Canterbury, New Hampshire since 2008. This year's show was disappointing on several levels. The weather was blustery and cool with more clouds than sun. There was a smaller turnout of cars than previous years, and less interesting cars at that. Also, the usually pastoral, photogenic Shaker Village area suffered from a lack of fall color this season. Colors were drab and many trees had already lost most of their leaves.
